Afreenben Vora, PT
Registered Physiotherapist
Afreen chose physiotherapy because of its unique ability to combine movement science, hands-on care, and long-term wellness to help people regain their quality of life. For her, one of the most rewarding parts of the profession is seeing a patient move from pain and limitation back to doing what they love with confidence.
She is especially passionate about helping clients understand their own bodies and look beyond temporary symptom relief. Her goal is to identify and address the root cause, restore mobility, build strength, and help patients feel more confident in how they move.
Afreen’s approach to care combines evidence-informed manual therapy, targeted rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, and patient education tailored to each person’s goals, lifestyle, and movement patterns.
Outside of the clinic, Afreen enjoys staying active outdoors, hiking, cycling, exploring local coffee shops, and reading about movement science, including books like Becoming a Supple Leopard.
A fun fact about Afreen is that she genuinely enjoys building and organizing new programs, which makes her especially excited to help launch and develop the Physiotherapy Department at StoneRMT.
Her advice to patients is simple: “Movement is medicine, but consistency is key.” Small, regular efforts toward recovery can create far greater long-term results than occasional bursts of intensity.
