Check with our team →Therapeutic massage is an approach to care, rather than one fixed pressure level or routine. Your RMT discusses your concerns, assesses what is appropriate, and works with you on the treatment plan.
Deep tissue describes a treatment approach; it does not mean every appointment needs intense pressure. We talk about pressure, positioning, and your response throughout your care.
The values behind our care →You can ask questions, request changes, decline an area or technique, or stop treatment. Consent is an ongoing conversation.
We review how you respond and adapt. When a different practitioner or service makes more sense, we discuss that with you.
Each practitioner has individual strengths. Where appropriate and with your consent, we can work alongside Physiotherapy, Athletic Therapy, or other care that supports your goals.
New massage patients should choose the 75-minute initial visit. That appointment includes time for conversation, assessment, and treatment—not 75 minutes of hands-on massage alone.
Complete your Jane intake forms and share relevant health information, your main concerns, and what you want to get back to doing. Unsure where to start? Book a free 15-minute consultation.
Your RMT reviews your history and goals, assesses as appropriate, explains the proposed treatment, and asks for your consent. Pressure and positioning are adjusted with your input.
We discuss your response, appropriate homecare, and whether a follow-up would help. Your feedback helps us make changes and keep the plan purposeful.
Different experience and skills. Shared respect for your goals, your time, and your voice.

A therapeutic massage is a clinical approach to soft tissue care, designed to alleviate physical discomfort, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. Unlike spa massages, therapeutic massage targets specific problem areas using customized techniques.
While both offer deep muscle relief, deep tissue massage is ideal for intense, focused pressure, whereas therapeutic massage offers a broader, more personalized treatment to support long-term recovery and stress relief.
Everyday stress and physical strain can lead to muscle tension, poor sleep, and chronic discomfort. Whether you're sitting at a desk all day, dealing with sports injuries, or simply overwhelmed, therapeutic massage can provide the release you need.
At StoneRMT, we combine advanced therapeutic massage techniques with a personalized approach. Every session begins with a consultation to understand your needs—so you can feel better, move better, and live more fully.
Relieve Stress and Tension: Our sessions help to melt away stress, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.
